The Durham branch will be attending the Raby Castle Game Fair , Staindrop, Co Durham on August the 14th and 15th 2010.Their stand will consist of a Have a go  with a muzzle loader , a shooting display plus a static display of antique  weapons.

Another successful week end for the Durham branch at Raby Castle Game Fair.The shooting stand did well with plenty of punters who could shoot the mighty 4 bore and the sxs game guns not forgetting the small bores for the youngsters.The static display was also well attended.

Yes it was a good Fair a lot larger than last year with every type of country sports. The  Durham branch shooting display also included a Have A Go you could shoot a big 4 bore ,and for clays there were several 12bores and a flintlock, not forgetting the youngsters who could use a small bore percussion with a light load or a 410 breech loader.The static display was well attended with guns on display from wheellock through to the early breech loader and also a display of fowling guns and vintage shooting photos.
