I would be grateful for any information on a D/B pinfire. The lock plates are named THOMs TURNER, and on the frame in a circle is "THOMs. TURNER patent" with 118 stamped in the middle, the breach is unlocked by pulling on a third trigger located just behind the trigger guard.
I have photographs but are unable to attach them.

There were several generations of the Turner family in the gun trade , several were gun barrel makers .
Thomas Turner born 1805  first recorded in 1834 has a gun barrel maker at 5 Aston Rd Birmingham. In 1838  he was recoreded has a gun and pistol maker of 8 Fisher St.
Along with Mr J F Swinburn and W Siddons he filed several patents for breech loading guns and rifles .
He was contractor to  H.M War dept  to make  Major Nuthall,s patent rifles. He was a keen marksman and competed at Wimbledon and other rifle matchs.
Has for your pinfire patent I have not come across this one make inquiries at the Patent Office they may be able to help
